Choosing a row pattern
Standard rows uses the plant's in-row and between-row spacing — the safest, most common layout.
Square grid plants on a square using the wider between-row spacing, for good airflow.
Intensive bed uses the closer in-row spacing in both directions for a denser bed.
The count is an estimate that ignores paths and edges, so round it down when planning.
